storytelling time. and i m not solving a chemistry question.
u know. there was this chef la. he made chicken pies. den its like he set up his stall a long time ago. so its like since den he had few customers. over the many years, he tried to signed contracts with 4 different major companies to franchise his pies but to no avail.
so this chef never really had a great opinion of himself. however, its like one day, he was sitting in his cafe. no customers. den this customer came in la. and its like this customer really made the chef's day. cus she was the buyer of the first pie he had sold in weeks. so its like the following year. the chef decided he would modify his pie abit. to make the pastry look more attractive. at the same time he also shifted his stall away. indeed his business did increase. but the thing that surprised him was, that customer he saw weeks back at his old shop appeared once again. and everyday, she never failed to savour the pies he made. so this chef, knowing he had such a loyal customer, felt really happy that, it was no longer people hu came and went but someone hu really appreciated his cooking.
so months past, and this chef decided he would give pies to this customer for free cus never in his entire career did he have a customer so loyal. because of his increasing business, he imported top grade chicken and used the best sauce and most fresh vegetables, and everytime this customer came. he would give his very best to make pies just so this customer could eat it. however, one day, the customer came, so the chef got down to prepare his new creation, the black pepper chicken pie. but she told the chef, hey, i think i m overweight, i dun think i ought to eat ur pies afterall.
so this chef felt really sad and dejected because he lost his most loyal customer, however, he took it in his stride. so its like everyday, he would see that customer walk by his shop, but she would never stop by and eat. however, once in a while, the customer would come back, saying she missed his pies and would continue to eat them for afew days, den she would just disappear and the chef would see her walk past his shop everyday. sometimes she waved, sometimes she didnt. and he would just experience this feeling of dejection and despair.
den one final day, the chef decided that he would go on and pursue his hobby which was doing publicity, and made chicken pies his secondary career cus he felt no one really appreciated it anymore. but on the day he decided he would close early and go for night classes on doing advertising. the customer popped by, that customer said she had just eaten an extremely horrible pie, feeling really sad and longing for someone to eat his pies, he decided, he would make the best pie ever, so he spent an hour, made this extremely nice pie, with extra gravy, gosh, it smelt good. that day, the customer ate like she never ate his pies before. it gave him hope that once again, someone would appreciate his pies again. the next day she came, but the following day, she said she would come no longer. this time the chef was really hit. he sat at his shop, deciding publicity first, pies later. but somehow he just couldnt let go of the fact, he ended his pie career without anyone truly appreciating him.
i know this chef. i know he has moved on to greater things. but i know he ll never give up finding a customer hu would truly appreciate his pies. heh. maybe its my turn to move on to great things...
heh. pardon all the pie talk. just had 2 of them for dinner so decided to weave a story out of it. sorry if it doesnt make much sense. if u get it, tell me about it. haha. welcome back to the world where words mean more things den one.
